Online Book Sale
The GCPL Online Book Sale is a special website created so customers may browse and shop just Gwinnett County Public Library used materials. Materials are added daily, so check often for the best selection. New materials may also be purchased through the site.
Proceeds from the sale of materials purchased through this site are a source of revenue for the library budget, and will contribute to the funding of special library-related literacy projects.
Volunteering at the Library
Our volunteers are special! They are parents, college students, teens, retired professionals, church groups and scouts. They are our neighbors and our friends. Library volunteers give their community the priceless gift of time.
Friends
The Friends of the Library are individuals with a deep loyalty to Gwinnett County Public Library and a strong commitment to the library's importance to the citizens of Gwinnett County. Members work to build support for the library and to strengthen it through the donation of time, talent and resources.
Monetary Donations
The library welcomes monetary contributions to the Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia, Gwinnett County Public Library Fund. When contributions from multiple donors are invested together, the Library gains maximum benefit from each contribution. The library can utilize these accumulated funds to provide enhanced or new services.
Decisions regarding gifts of property and significant cash gifts for specified purposes will be made on a case-by-case basis by the Director. Please contact the library administrative office for additional information.
Book Donations
Professional Librarians carefully maintain and select the Library's collection using established guidelines and criteria to best meet the needs of the community. While we do not accept donations of books or other materials, we thank those who think of us as a place to donate these items.
