Support Your Library There are many ways to support your local library, such as through donations of time, money or talent. Gwinnett County Public Library's success is a reflection of the terrific community it serves!

Monetary Donations

GCPL welcomes monetary contributions. When contributions from multiple donors are invested together, the Library gains maximum benefit from each contribution. The Library can utilize these accumulated funds to provide enhanced or new services. 

Decisions regarding gifts of property and significant cash gifts for specified purposes will be made on a case-by-case basis by the Director. Please contact the Community Partnership Coordinator for additional information.

Proceeds from the sale of materials purchased through Better World Books are a source of revenue for the library budget and will contribute to the funding of special library-related literacy projects.

Online Purchases Support Your Library

Each purchase you make through Amazon or Barnes & Noble online using the links from this webpage will benefit GCPL! Your shopping experience will be exactly the same, but a small commission on the items you purchase will be sent to GCPL. Amazon and Barnes & Noble do not share your name, address, or payment information with the Library.

Book Donations

Professional Librarians carefully maintain and select the Library's collection using established guidelines and criteria to best meet the needs of the community. While we do not accept donations of books or other materials, we thank those who think of us as a place to donate these items.

The Friends of the Library are individuals with a deep loyalty to Gwinnett County Public Library and a strong commitment to the library's importance to the citizens of Gwinnett County. Members work to build support for the Library and to strengthen it through the donation of time, talent and resources.
