Denene Millner

Millner has written for Honey, VIBE, Essence, TV Guide, Interview, Heart and Soul, BET Weekend, American Visions and Black Elegance. Along with her husband Nick Chiles (also a guest of this year's Reading Festival), she has co-authored the three-book relationship series What Brothers Think, What Sistahs Know and three novels: Love Don't Live Here Anymore, In Love and War, and A Love Story.  Millner also authored the novelization of the movie Dreamgirls and is co-author of The Angry Black Woman's Guide to Life and the novels The Vow and Hotlanta.
