Gwinnett Reading Festival

Due to budget cuts, the 2009 Gwinnett Reading Festival, which was to be held on October 17 in Duluth, has been suspended. "We are disappointed that we have to cancel this year's festival, but we hope to bring it back to Gwinnett County, bigger and better in 2010," said Nancy Stanbery-Kellam, executive director of Gwinnett County Public Library.

Gwinnett Reading Festival 2008

The 2008 Gwinnett Reading Festival was a great success! More than 4500 people turned out on a beautiful fall day for the 2nd annual Gwinnett Reading Festival. Adults enjoyed hearing from Rick Bragg, Nathalie DuPree, and Steve Martini. Children giggled to Carmen Deedy, face painting and Spider-Man.

Many thanks go to our fantastic community partners, sponsors and to the countless enthusiastic readers in Gwinnett County for another fun-filled festival event.
