Parents Advisory Section

Each branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library maintains a Parents' Advisory section. Non-fiction titles in the health and sexual therapy subject areas are assigned to this section if they are specifically intended for adults and the predominant content visually or verbally depicts human sexual acts. Through the formal review process, materials of this nature can also be assigned to the Parents' Advisory section. Although materials in the Parents' Advisory section may only be checked out by adults and minors with checkout privileges for the entire library collection, the Library cannot insure that the Parents' Advisory section will be monitored to prevent access to this section of the Library.
