Observe the Night Sky
The Atlanta Astronomy Club will present “Observe the Night Sky” at the Duluth Branch library. The specially trained members will point out various constellations, plus give opportunity to observe the night sky through telescopes, set up outside the library building. They will explain in detail what the object is one is looking at and answer any questions. This is a great time to learn about what twinkles in the night!
(If the moon is out and causes too much light pollution for the other viewings, an observation of the moon’s craters, riles and mountains will be observed instead.)
