Let the library help you get the information you need on your path to citizenship with these two separate presentations. October 6th includes green card overview. October 8th will include details about the naturalization process. No pre-registration is required for this free program presented by the U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Each evening is a separate topic. You may attend one or both nights.

Samuel G. Freedman Book Discussion and Signing

New York Times Columnist and Bestselling Author Samuel G. Freedman to Speak in Gwinnett. Freedman won a Helen Bernstein Award for Excellence in Journalism for his book “Upon This Rock” in 1997. His book “The Inheritance” was a finalist for the 1997 Pulitzer Prize. Freedman is a professor at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York City. He writes the column, “On Religion,” for the New York Times and has contributed to several other publications, including The New Yorker, Rolling Stone and USA Today.
