Indexed census records are available to help you find out where your ancestors lived, how old they were, the names of other relatives and more! HeritageQuest also features Revolutionary War pension records and hard-to-find family history books that are usually only available in a far away library’s reference collection.
New to genealogy searching? The site provides research aids that include search tips and ideas for getting started. Best of all, you can access this site remotely! Yes, you can now delve into historical records from the comfort of your own home.
Just go to the Gwinnett County Public Library website at www.gwinnettpl.org and click on the digital tab to access All Digital Resources. Then choose HeritageQuest and begin your amazing journey into your family’s past!
HeritageQuest is accessed through GALILEO so you you will need to enter your library card number and PIN to obtain the current password. To do this go to the Digital tab at the top and choose GALILEO and then “Click here for the GALILEO password.”
