GCPL offers many genealogical resources available to our users, including access to Ancestry.com (within library branches only) and HeritageQuest (in-house and remote access). Our print materials related to genealogy can be found in the non-fiction collection, beginning with the call number 929.

OpenAccess, a system developed by Norcross-based technology supplier Bibliotheca, is a complete solution that automatically controls and monitors building access, self-service kiosks, public access computers, lighting, alarms, public announcements, and patron safety. Security cameras will monitor the use of the facility. This service is available at the Duluth, Lawrenceville, Norcross, and Suwanee Branches. Registered customers will have access to the branch Monday to Friday from 8 am to 10 pm.
GCPL offers Mango Languages, a premium language-learning resource, through GALILEO. Mango Languages offers courses in more than 60 languages through coursework in your native language.
GCPL offers a plethora of resources for job seekers. We offer free resumé clinics, classes to brush up on skills you need, job search help from librarians, and access to the Mobile Career Lab through a partnership with Job Smart and Atlanta Regional Workforce Board!
We have a substantial collection to choose from. The genres range anywhere from TV shows and movies to exercise videos, all at your convenience.
7. Access to Video Production and Music Software and Equipment
GCPL’s Learning Labs are a space to create, collaborate, and share digital content. If you are a videographer, graphic designer, or even a future rock star, our Learning Labs have the software and equipment to turn your vision into reality.
Large print books and audiobooks are available at all fifteen library branches. Audiobooks and ebooks with adjustable text can also be downloaded through the GCPL website. Customers also have access to accessibility tool kits that include the following:
